Many of you have requested more songs from the group BLACKBIRD who contributed with the song "RISE" on the "Double Up" 2LP compilation. I can finally delight you with a demo song recorded in 1986 entitled "Bloodstained", more songs exists which hopefully will turn up here in the near future so stay tuned!.
Here are some short info: The band contained members from Blizzard (same band featured on the DOUBLE UP comp and released the MLP "Fading Away" in 1987). The only members known to me are Erik - Drums and Rickard Sörman - Bass(?). Blackbird are since 4 years back reformed - mostly doing Judas Priest covers and some video recordings are actually available at powerage40plus Youtube channel!, here is a video of Blackbird performing "Diamonds and Rust" live in 2008. ENJOY!!
