In The Colonnades was a Swedish quintet with roots in punk and early 1970's metal. Magnus Gehlin (guitar) and Olle Borg (organ) shared a previous history in the early 1980's with local bands BEDBUGS and PLAST... Industrial, synth and inventive with an ironic twist. Ulf Lenneman (vocals) and the brothers Johan (bass) and Olle Pettersson (drums), had a more brutal and black side as their influences. Together they were to ignite the Swedish rock scene for four years. At a festival in Stockholm summer of 1986 they made an unforgettable impact on the audience. Five, tall men all in black leather and violent music with no inhibitions. After the concert they were signed to indie label: Joker Records. In the autumn of 1986 it resulted in the release of their debut mini-album .."In The Colonnades" which today has become a legend, a rarity and a collectors item. More info at Myspace.
